Amman, Nov. 2 (Petra) – Royal Hashemite Documentation Center (RHDC) has released a new book, themed: "The First One Hundred Teachers from Tafila: The First Generation of Educators (1913–1963)," authored by Dr. Ishaq Ahmad Salem Ayal Salman.

The release sheds light on a "pivotal period" in the history of Jordanian education.

According to a RHDC statement issued Sunday, the book presents a "detailed historical" narrative of the educational journey in southern Tafila governorate during the first half of the 20th century.

The center added that this effort was implemented by recording the lives of 100 teachers, who formed the preliminary core of the governorate's educational process.

On its traits, the book is "distinguished" by its inclusion of key documentary appendices, featuring photographs, official documents, and administrative correspondence.

The chroncile also contains personal and human profiles that highlight these teachers' life and intellectual aspects, who contributed to building Tafila's educational infrastructure.

This publication comes within the framework of the center's efforts to preserve national memory and document the Kingdom's educational chronicles nationwide, as an essential part of Jordanian social and cultural history.
